2010

MBE — Member of the Order of the British Empire

Awarded to Dr Nirmal Singh Sekhon for services to the Sikh community in Yorkshire. Presented at Buckingham Palace.

2014

FRSA — Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts

Dr Sekhon appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts for sustained contribution to civic and community life.

2022

Yorkshire Interfaith Recognition

Recognised by Yorkshire Interfaith for two decades of multi-faith partnership and dialogue. Placeholder — committee to confirm exact title.

High Sheriff's Award
